2、外商自带就是借用外商身份自带一辆汽车到国内使用，外商身份需要符合：外商必须是外国国籍且在中国居留必须一年以上、在中国工作必须一年以上（凭工作证）、必须是在职人员、就业证、护照或是港澳台通行证、不能为旧车等。
3、国外发货时船公司提单收货人必须出具外商护照或是港澳台通行证上面的英文名称，且全称不能有错。国外发货后国内同时办理备案，需携带外商护照、居住证、身份证、申请表及所在公司对外贸易备案登记表到外商所在地填写表格办理备案。因外商自带方式到港后清关操作时间比较久，为借用滞箱费用国外发货时建议拼箱发货，借用国内滞箱费用。
